Day 13 - Festive Friday

AND....................our first guest designer!

I just want to say (and I know that I speak on behalf of the rest of the design team as well) that I am thrilled with the variety of cards that you all are linking up each day! And remember that we welcome card makers of all levels of experience - a card is always special when it is hand made!!!

So today's challenge should be fun, I think, because it's a birthday card - BUT, it must consist only of 3 colors - Red, Blue and Yellow. The card base itself can be white, but otherwise stick to those primary colors.

Now let's meet our fabulous guest designer, shall we?
Introducing

~Erika Taylor~

A big hello from a small town in Saskatchewan. Hi everyone, My name is Erika Taylor and I'm addicted to ink, paper and anything that can find a home on my creations. I have been paper crafting for a little over 8 months and I love trying new things. I like challenging myself and stepping out of my own comfort zone. Sometimes the projects that you really have to push yourself on, can be the most rewarding.

I have the most wonderful husband and our family is completed by our 2 great children who are 4 and 18 months. You can find me in my craft room most evenings and when the kids are napping. I love pushing the envelope on color combinations and am always trying to find a good deal on supplies. I love Nick Bantock Inks, Basic Grey Papers, Peachy Cheap, and my Big Shot. And I also love blurfing the craft world.
I am so excited to be featured as a guest designer on 365 cards. This is my first design spot and I'm completely stoked!

Here is Erika's stunning creation:

I hope this card inspires you as much as it does me. Thanks, Erika, for sharing this gorgeous card with us!! Be sure stop by Erika's blog Ink Cut & Fold and enjoy!

And since it is Friday, DT member Sophie has shared her take on this challenge:

Sophie, your cards always have incredibly clean lines, which is something I aspire to in my card making.

I have no doubt that with Erika's and Sophie's cards as inspiration you will be ready to attack this challenge.

So go to it and show us your "primary" colors~
