Day 33 - White Space

Let's announce some winners, shall we? First we have the winner of the monthly prize for completing the most challenges. We had SEVERAL people who completed them all, so their names went into a random drawing, and the winner is:

JOANN!!!!!!!

Congratulations and great job! Please email me with your address so I can send your prize off to you.

The next prize goes to that lucky person who participated in today's challenge and/or commented on the kit blog. The random winner is..........................

MAZ!!!!!!!!!!

You've won a package of the glazed brads from Basic Grey's Marrakech line that is featured in the April kit.

Congrats, Maz, and please email me with your address. There'll be more chances to win over the next several days, and there will also be different prizes.

Today's challenge is based on something I've seen done a lot in scrapbooking. I would like to see you use only the top 1/3 or the bottom 1/3 of your card, leaving the other 2/3 blank. For some (like me) this can be quite a challenge because we looooooooove our embellishments, but take a look at Amy's card:

That image is too sweet to be overshadowed by lots of embellishments, don't you think? This definitely proves that this challenge is worth a try ;)

BUT, before you do, I would like you to mark your calendars please. From April 12th to April 18th, the DT and I are putting together a series of related challenges all revolving around scoring. This has been in the works for quite some time, and I am super excited to welcome our next sponsor:

Tim Hammonds from Scor-it sent me my own Scor-it tool, and after I used it the first time, I said "Where have you been all my card making life?" I'm not exaggerating the greatness of this product for card makers like us. If you already have one, and you love it like I do, then you know what I'm talking about. If you don't have one, then you will have the opportunity to win your very own Scor-it Mini! The DT (who all have their own Scor-it Minis) and I will be blogging all about it in a couple of weeks as we share projects and tutorials with you.

Okay -- enough chatter! I didn't leave any white space in this post, so you'll have to do it for me on your cards~

Love all the cards everyone has made.
I apologize for my name appearing 3 times for this challenge, for some reason my first 2 links did not work properly. Sorry about that.
Really enjoying this blog.

This was really hard but turned out nice!

I agree with Alicia - this was really tough - great challenges though. Have no idea how you manage to keep coming up with such different things.

I've turned into a fractious 3 year old.... Maybe it'll look better in the morning!

Mmmm I'm not sure about my cards - a 4 year old could have done them x
