Day 38 - That's it, I Quilt!

Ok - that's a silly title, I know, but I think it will be a fun challenge. Before I share the details, I would like to announce another prize winner...

DIANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, you've won a 6x6 paper pad from the BG Marrakech line~

Email me with your address, and I will get this sent off to you!
Thanks to all of you who have spread the word about Scor-it Week already. Remember, all you need to do is mention Scor-it Week on your blog, which starts on Sunday April 12th, and share the link in our comment section to have your name entered in a random drawing for a prize.

So today, I have a basic quilt pattern for you to use as a guide in creating your card. Here is the pattern:And you're just gonna love what Tammy did with it:

Tammy, your stitching is amazing! Hmmmmmmm.....might just have to be a challenge in the future ;)

**Just a little side note - Deanne, who has posted several gorgeous card creations, I have tried to leave posts on your blog, and am unable to for some reason. I try to post on everybody's blog when I can, even if it's not for every card you link up. I just want you all to know that the DT members (who are wonderful about blog hopping to check out the cards) and I see you all out there and we are enjoying every card that gets posted!!**

Okay, now you can quilt away~

I want to thank all of the ladies for all the wonderful encouraging comments left on my blog. And for the support in my effort to quit smoking :-) I'm sorry i don't do more blog hopping to see all of the cards each day, if only i had 48 hrs a day LOL
Now this challenge is perfect to make my mother a card, she has made quilts for the past 53 years (still does the quilting by hand)!!
And Congrats Diana!!!

This card was so much fun to make!

I too want to say thanks to everyone who takes time to look at my cards on my blog! I rarely get comments on anything so it gets me all excited to see all the wonderful comments you all leave! As my time permits I try to see what everyone makes, but sometimes there just isn't enough hours in the day! But I do the best I can! There are some very talented ladies here!

I too approached this card a bit differently. I changed the corners just a wee bit to create a slightly different pattern. It just flowed better for me. I love the sketch though and Tammy, I envy your stitching. I have tried it a couple of times in the past, but I can't get a straight line yet. Maybe that is why my sewing seams never line up when I make a quilt. Who knew....LOL!

I forgot to mention that I mentioned Scor It on my blog! LOL http://scrugglenamp.blogspot.com
