Not necessarily a challenge, but a perfect card to make right now. It's an opportunity to honor a special mom (grandma, sister, aunt, friend) in your life. The sentiment should reflect this.
***I just want to clarify that this challenge does NOT require that you specifically make a card that says "Happy Mother's Day", but rather one that honors a WOMAN in your life.***
Before I share Gloria's card, I just want to thank all of you who came up with so many wonderful ideas for the May kit. I think I'll have you help me name the June kit, too ;) It was tough to narrow it down, but I would like to thank Kelly Bowser for coming up with the winning name: Spring Frenzy! That is just how I think of the May kit with all of its colors and wild and fun embellishments. Congrats, Kelly, because you will receive a mini kit to play with. Just email me with your address, and I will send that off.
Oh, by the way - if you peek over at the sidebar, you'll see that I've revealed the sponsor of our May special event week **wink** More details to come later in the week...
Okay - now let's see what Gloria created for this challenge:
So many wonderful details, Gloria - and perfect for a Mother's Day card. I don't know about you, but I needed a push to get going on my cards for this holiday. So let's inspire one another to honor those extra special women in our lives.

That is a beautiful card Gloria, so elegant.
This will be a tough challenge for me, here in the UK we have already celebrated Mother's Day and my own Mum passed away 7 years ago, will have to think for this one

I was going to say exactly the same as Maz! Tricky one for me as like her my Mum died many years ago as has my mother-in-law, plus in the UK we celebrate Mother's Day in March.
Hmmmm, I'll have to see what I can come up with!

Hello
Lovely card Gloria. This is my first post on 365 Cards. I've been lurking a bit lately after my Button Junkie friend Sherry told me about this blog. Because I can't sleep I decided to do it. I just started up my blog again too so I hope you will drop by for a visit. I can only scan cards at the moment and the picture does not do this card justice but I wanted to participate and beat my friend. It will be very hard for lots of women as several ladies I know have lost their MOM. Tami
This is the card I am giveing to my mom this year! She loves blue and yellow. Also loves flowers. I plan to give her a few plants for her yard as her gift! I found these wonderful 3-d stickers at the tree. I think to date they are the best $ tree goodie I have ever found. I love this site and check it every day!
I am deeply sorry for you gals who have lost your mothers. I know that Mother's Day brings a special pain in your heart. But, use the challenge to honor your BFF or your sister or your neighbor. Send a HELLO card to a woman who just needs a boost. I made a mom's day card, but you don't have to!
Perfect timing for a Mother's Day card! I have a few more to make and will try to incorporate some of the other challenges. I'd REALLY like to keep up with you guys!
I'm another crafter from the UK, where we've already celebrated Mother's Day, but my card is for a special auntie. Love your card, Gloria x
