Before I share the recipe, I have lots of business to take care of.
Up first is your Top Trio:
1)Karyn with a very an eye-catching take on the sketch.
2)Ella who created a clean and clever card to tie all the seasons together.
3)Loz with a technique that made this card really stand out along with the nice use of wrapping paper.
You have all received Card of the Week honors, and if you pop over to the side bar, you'll see a special blinkie that you may add to your blogs if you wish!
Next, let's congratulate those who completed every challenge last week from Sunday to Saturday:
Sherry Ann, Alicia H., Ella, Piali, Jenny S., chiara_francy, Chrissie, Fi, Lila C., Teza, Linda B., Rose, and Maz
Well done, Everyone!!
And now for the list** of people who completed every challenge in the month of June:
Ella, Fi, Rose, Audrey, Sherry Ann, Paula M., and Linda B.
**If your name should be on this list and you don't see it, there is the obvious reason that I missed your name on a post. The other possibility is that you completed a challenge (maybe more than one in a single post) but you didn't add the link to it separately. I will wait until tomorrow's post to do the drawing so that everyone who should be included is in the drawing.
I know that we've had several new card makers in recent weeks, so let's review the rules:
1) Every day I present a new challenge, for which one member of our fabulous design time shares her take. When you complete a card for a given challenge, you can add a link directly to the post that contains the card in a gallery or on your blog.
**Common Question: How long do I have to complete a challenge? If you are just playing for fun, you have as long as you wish to share your take on a challenge. However, in order to be considered for the Top Trio or to be acknowledged for completing all the challenges for a specific week (Sunday to Saturday), you have until 11:59 PM EST on each Saturday to link up. This generally applies to contests with sponsors, but I will make those rules clear when we are in the middle of a sponsored challenge or challenge week.
2)We love to have you join us and share your creations, whether they be old or new, but only those cards that have been created for the challenge after it has been issued will be considered for awards and acknowledgments.
3)Combo cards are welcome and will be considered for awards and acknowledgments. You might be using a sketch or challenge from another site, and that's fine. You might also combine 365 challenges, but no matter how many of those you combine, it will only count as a single entry for a prize or award.
4)As mentioned above, a week will run from a Sunday to the following Saturday.
5)Prizes by sponsors will be awarded through a random drawing. While we acknowledge some of our favorites in the Top Trio, every valid entry is worthy of a prize and will be included in the drawings.
6)Please be sure to link your post containing the card for a challenge under the correct challenge. It saves us a lot of time trying to find each card, and we want to look at each and every one!
7)I reserve the right to delete a post if it does not link to a card in one of our challenges.
8)Never worry that your card isn't good enough or pretty enough - every handmade card is special!!!
I will add a place over in the sidebar to post these rules and regulations so that you can review them at any time.
Thank you all for making this such a wonderful place to be and for being respectful of one another's work. You really leave such kind comments for each other!!
Back to today's challenge. I will give you a card recipe and you are to follow it without straying from the list of "ingredients". This still leaves you with lots of options for putting your card together.
Here is the recipe:
1 5x5 Card
1 Rub-on image
2 Buttons
1 Piece of patterned paper
1 piece of ribbon - NO BOW
1 Sentiment inside the card

Here is Gloria's version:
Now, Gloria is known around here as our resident troublemaker who likes break the rules...but it looks to me like you followed the recipe beautifully! (Just teasing, Gloria, you know I love ya!)
Whew, I'm exhausted after writing this looooooooong post. I will check back in the morning to start looking at your cards...

Congrats to the top trio! There were a lot of wonderful cards last week!
The rub-on I used is K&Company.
Oops, I'm kind of like Gloria, we just added a pinch more.
I had fun following your recipe, it really made me think.
Thanks,
Beverly Gotthardt
Wonderful cards everyone! I used two rub-ons because I wanted it all to match (I think Gloria is rubbing-off on us - lol!). Just kidding Glo, we all love you!
Congrats. to the 3 winners. I so enjoyed last weeks challenges. Keep 'em coming. xx
Well, I am new to this too! Loved the challenge for day 128, it really helped me design a birthday card for my 1 year old gran-puppy. Good thing I make cards, not so many for doggy birthdays! This is a stand-up card for SC challenge TLC228, I changed it to fit your guidlines for a 5x5 card and the sentiment is on the back. TFL
ps I'm am so GREEN at this that I posted on the wrong link, please delete my post on day 127! Sorry!
Great recipe. I finally got mine uploaded. Love recipes.
Congratulations to the top trio!
Beautiful card, Gloria!
See....you all fuss when I break the rules and you fuss when I follow them! I cannot win around here. (giggle) I think next recipe challenge I'll do everything BUT what's suggested....HA!
Sorry I'm late. I'm taking care of my ill mother and just getting caught up on my blogs. I'm almost positive I did all the challenges for June, but didn't see my name posted. Maybe I missed a post, since I have them all checked off on my list. Since I'm 6 hours away from my studio, I probably won't get to do the July challenges. I'll try, but who knows what's ahead! Congrats to the other 365-ers. One day I will get my name on the list!
