So on to today's challenge...
Maybe you're thinking
Really? That's it??
Yep - use some tissue paper on your card. Lately, I've always got this stuff around because I don't wrap presents - I am a gift bag kinda girl :)
Anyway - use a little or a lot, but use some tissue paper on your card.
Gloria did a beautiful job with hers:

Here's a close-up shot:

And the sentiment on the inside:

And that is one adorable bunny image from KLM Digital Designs!

Day 90 - Card Recipe

As Stamp{ippity} Week comes to a close, here is your last challenge for the week:
Card Recipe
Ingredients:

5x5 Card
3 stamps (including the sentiment)
String, fiber or twine
2 patterned papers
4 blossoms
That's you can include on your card for it to count!

Here's Heidi's finished product:

I just love the colors on this gorgeous card!

It has been such a fun week and you still have one more day to get those cards linked up for up to 7 chances at that prize.

Day 89 - Courage and Strength

It's time for to create a card with this theme - Courage and Strength. You can use the sentiment along with an image, or just the sentiment to deliver a message of hope, courage, faith, strength...something along those lines.

Sophie used this wonderful {ippity} sentiment stamp:

And she also created a beautiful card to go along with that sentiment.

One more day of {ippity} fun coming up tomorrow...

Thursday, May 27, 2010

Day 88 - Insect Frenzy

Hmmm.... do ya think I'm asking for a frenzy of insects on your card? As a matter of fact, I am ;)
Specifically, use at least 3 different types of bugs and put at least 10 little buggies in total on your card. Sounds like fun, doesn't it?
For this challenge, Vicky used my favorite stamp from this set:

Beautiful job stamping on this card, Vicky!!
2 more days of Stamp{ippity} week to go, but you've got until Sunday night to get those cards linked up for a chance at that super great prize!!!

Wednesday, May 26, 2010

Day 87 - All Natural

Okay, maybe not ALL natural, but something on your card should involve something from nature on your card.
You could use dried leaves or flowers/petals, or use a leaf to make a leaf print. These are just suggestions - you can use anything you want, as long as your card includes something that is considered 'all natural'.
Kim's card is soooo creative, check it out:

Stunning result, Kim!

I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with on this one...

Tuesday, May 25, 2010

Day 86 - Keep it Simple

So here's your "Keep it Simple" challenge:

One stamped image (you can color it in), one stamped sentiment, and one embellishment of your choice. No patterned paper on this one!

Yikes, is that too simple, and can it be done?
Well Audrey certainly proved it can be...

Nicely done, Audrey! It really sparked your creativity, I think :) And that {ippity} sentiment says it all!!

More card making fun tomorrow...

Monday, May 24, 2010

Day 85 - Flora and Fauna

Here's your Top Trio:

2) Tracey - Scroll down to see her fabulous "Keep it to Yourself" card, which definitely says friendship to me.
3) Wendi - For capturing the color scheme beautifully.

Well done to all of you!!

And the Weekly Challenge All-Stars:

Heather B., Shelly H., Gail and Kajikit

Today's challenge is called "Flora and Fauna", which requires that you include both Plant and Wildlife on your card. Oops - I think that's too easy. So let's do this...
You must use a plant/flower image on your card, and some sort of wildlife - and they must be from different sources...(insert evil laugh here)
Here is Gloria's take on the challenge:

So sweet! And the sentiment on the front of the card comes from {ippity}.

Keep on playing along, and you just might win an {ippity} stamp set of your very own!!

Day 83 - 4-Wheel Drive

Wow - I can't believe another great sponsored week is coming to a close!! But you can still link up your cards to the challenges until tomorrow night, in order to qualify for the prize drawing.

For now, let's take a look at today's challenge, called "4-wheel drive". All you have to do is put 4 wheels of any kind on your card.
Here is Heidi's card:

There's that super cool Skater Kody image from Some Odd Girl. I love the sweet simplicity of this card!

Come on back tomorrow and we'll begin another sponsored week...

Friday, May 21, 2010

Day 82 - Substitution Please

Here's a fun little challenge:

Substitute a number for a word in your sentiment.
Here is Sophie's example:

So sweet!!
Any substution counts, EXCEPT for example, "Happy 5th Birthday".
One more day of Some Odd Girl fun coming up tomorrow...

Thursday, May 20, 2010

Day 81 - Setting the Scene

This means actually creating a scene on your card, and it must have the following theme:

On a Picnic

And you will just love how Vicky "set her scene", check it out:

That Lounging Kaylee image from Some Odd Girl is perfect on this card!
Have you popped over the the Some Odd Girl shop? If you haven't, what are ya waiting for? See all the other fabulous images here.

Day 80 - Keep it to Yourself: Friendship

With a Keep it to Yourself challenge, the idea is to convey the message on the outside without actually saying it with a sentiment. If you'd like to include a sentiment, you can put it on the inside of the card.

The card should be all about Friendship.

Here's what Kim created:

And the inside of the card:

Such an adorable image from Some Odd Girl, dontcha think?

By the way, there's been some buzzing over in the chat box about the fact that we are less than 20 followers away from having 1000 followers! And you know I can't let that go by without a celebration...

Tuesday, May 18, 2010

Day 79 - Color Scheme

I think it's about time for another color scheme challenge, so here ya go:

And Audrey got to play with this super cool Skater Kody image from Some Odd Girl:

I love those vibrant colors on the image - you have such a talent for that, Audrey!

So that's the challenge, just use the color scheme on your card and you're all set :)

Monday, May 17, 2010

Great job getting all those challenges done!!!
Today's challenge is to Imagine This: Money. You don't have to use actual money on your card, lol! But just show us how "money" inspires you.

Here's what Gloria came up with:

How adorable is that image from Some Odd Girl?? Such a fab card, Gloria!

More fun coming up tomorrow...

Day 77 - Super Sketchy Sunday

Welcome to Some Odd Girl Week!!!

digital stamps

Hi! Kristy owner/designer of Some Odd Girl Digital Stamps here! I am thrilled to be sponsoring 365 Cards! We are giving away 3 freebies of the winners choice to our store (a $9 value)!
Some Odd Girl is my baby freshly launched in January and we are proudly bringing some fun and quirky images that I hope you'll like! The idea to start Some Odd Girl was inspired by two great friends who are such dolls! They took one of my pencil drawings and made it into red rubber and that act of generosity spiraled into what you see today! I am a married FTWM of 2 who has a hubby who not only loves me but supports my crafting and my site as my IT guy. What more could a girl want? I am an artist born who started out with pencils then acrylics and now scrapbook and am a cardmaker. I do DT work for ScrapMuse, Gutter Girls, and Design Dollies but Some Odd Girl is my baby.

The Design Team has had the great pleasure of working with images from Some Odd Girl to go along with today's sketch:

Tesa

Sophia

Rose

Pam

Andrea

Amy

Aren't those images super cute and fun??
So here's a review of how a sponsored week works:

1) Each card you share must be a new creation based on the challenge for which it is submitted.
2) Each entry earns you a chance to win a prize from the Some Odd Girl shop. A random winner will be drawn at the end of the week.
3) You can earn up to seven chances to win the prize.
4) All cards must be linked up by Sunday, May 23rd, at 11:59 PM EST.
5) Have fun!

Day 76 - Criss Cross Applesauce

Sorry, that title comes from being the mom of a preschooler!

But seriously, all I'm really looking for on this challenge is a criss cross pattern to appear on your card somewhere.

Heidi is sharing this image of a sewing machine on her card:

And indeed you can see that criss cross pattern in there! This card is "sew sweet", Heidi - love it :)
Although Digi Doodles Week has come to a close, you have until tomorrow to complete your cards and link them up to the appropriate challenges.
And then tomorrow we begin another sponsored week - woo hoo!!

Friday, May 14, 2010

Day 75 - Card Recipe

It's been a while since we've had one of these, so here are the ingredients:

4.25 x 5.5 card
2 patterned papers
stripes
1 piece of ribbon
stamped image (digi counts!)
stamped sentiment

These are the only things that can be included on your card for it to meet the requirements of the challenge!

Here is Sophie's card:

This is lovely, and I am such a fan of that sofa image from Digi Doodles :)
See you back here tomorrow for our last day of this sponsored week...

Thursday, May 13, 2010

Day 74 - Buttons and Bows

I think this one will seem easy compared to some of the previous challenges :)

You need to include on your card 4 buttons and 4 bows. That's it! Check out Vicky's beautiful card using a bonnet from the Digi Doodles shop:

I think the sentiment is perfect Vicky, because I truly "enjoy" looking at this card!!
And I've also really enjoyed this week, with more great cards to come...

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Day 73 - Tri-Colored

This is the kind of challenge that makes you realize how often you rely on a rainbow of colors in card making.
So here it is: Use an image (stamped or digi) on your card and only use 3 colors (and not different shades of those colors). Black and white are the exceptions to this rule. Check out Kim's example:

How cute is that Digi Doodle image? And a fabulous card it is, Kim!
It looks like her three colors are brown, red, and peach (or something close to it). I think it's pretty straightforward, so let's see what you come up with...

Tuesday, May 11, 2010

Day 72 - It Needs Something

Here's your Top Trio:

1) Heather B. - For this fun and clever "3 F's" card.
2) Gail - for creating something new to celebrate with this cool "3 A's" card.
3) Cheri - for this soft and beautiful sketch card.

And your Weekly Challenge All-Stars who completed every challenge from Sunday to Saturday last week:

Kajikit, Carolyn V., Margie, Shelly H., Heather B., Linda B., and Gail
A round of applause please! And please let me know if your name should be up here.

On to today's challenge...

Have you ever looked at an image (stamped or digi) and thought, "I want to add something here"? Even if you haven't, maybe you'll start to look at your images in a whole new way. You can do more than add color to an image. By using an embellishment to create an object on your image, you can add wonderful dimension and texture.

You can see what I mean when you take a look at Audrey's card:

She took this wonderful 1920's-inspired image from Digi Doodles and gave it a little something extra by adding what looks like a pearl necklace. Very nicely done, Audrey! It's not just about adding pretty embellishments, but actually creating an object that fits with the existing image.
More Digi Doodles fun to come - we're just getting started...

Day 71 - Do that Decade

Hey 365ers!

I took Mother's Day off and I have lots of cards to look at, so I will post the Top Trio and the Weekly Challenge All-Stars tomorrow.

As for today, the challenge is about being inspired by one whole decade. In this case, it's the 1920's. If you're like me, and know very little about that time, you might have to Google it. See what you can find, and please let us know what you found that inspired you!
Gloria's card features this image from Digi Doodles of a 1920's-style dress, check it out:

Gorgeous, and I looooooove that patterned paper!!

So now let's see what you all come up with...
