Do you subscribe to online or paper magazines? Are you a blog hopper who enjoys checking out what everyone is scrapping? Then you just might be up on all the lastest trends in paper crafting.
And that's what this challenge is all about - grab one of those trends and use it to inspire your card. Are you seeing a certain color combination, technique, or embellishment that seems to be appearing everywhere?
Hannah has noticed a lot of lace out there, so she made that the prominent feature of this elegant card:
So for this challenge, you don't need to use Hannah's choice - visit some of your favorite blogs or flip through the latest copy of a scrappy magazine and see what's trendy...

Cool. Had a moment when I read the title. The card I created for do that decade was called Trendy Girl. Kismet?
Hmm, might have to blog surf some more.
A lot of people usually use big square cards... so I tried to do the same even though I usually make 4.5' on 5.5'
I love lace! and that flower looks almost real. I used bakers twine which is popular, and a new element that I think should be trendy: bobby pins!
I added a bit of twine to my CAS card, b/c it seems to be the in thing.
I've done B&W with a splash of bright colour.
not realy sure what is "on trend" but had a look in my craft stamper mag for info....

Theere seemed to be a lot of challenges looking for pearls, pearls with lace, pearls with ribbon, etc. So I went with pearls.
I keep looking at everyone's cards going "yep" that's a trend!
I see a lot of punches being used. This is my first time actually using a punch and I LOVE it!!!
