Have you had the pleasure of playing around with mists yet? It's never too late, and they enhance any paper craft project beautifully.
The question is, do you need to go out and spend money to create this effect? Absolutely not, although that's definitely a good way to go.
If you don't own a mist, not to worry. Just get creative with what you do have or pop online and punch in a search for creating your own mists.
I used a pair of shimmery mists to create a beautiful background for my card.

Misting was a first for me. I am going to look around and maybe I'll try again with the misting ... Thanks for making me use something I had in the stash, collecting dust!
Thanks to this blog I have a collection of misted flowers waiting to be used and a fun card waiting to be sent to a friend of mine.
