Day 245 - Decor Inspired

If you will be out with little ones trick-or-treating, have a fun & safe night!
Here are the specifics on today's challenge
Choose from your home decor an item that inspires you and create a card that is based on that item. Include a picture of that item, if possible.
Here's the item that Yvonne chose
And her card
I think the beauty of this challenge is that you're sure to be inspired, because you'll base your card on an item that you've chosen.
Link up those cards here and be sure to share the source of your inspiration.

Day 244 - Card Recipe 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Hey 365ers, I'm recovering from jet lag today, so I am popping on to give you today's challenge and I'll update soon...
This isn't your typical card recipe
Here are the ingredients

And here is Audrey's card

Love that multi-colored background - a great way to get all those patterned papers in there!
So you can get started on this one and I'll get back to you on Spotlight Designers...

Day 243 - A Certain Sentiment

You must include a "Thanks" or "Thank You" on your card, otherwise anything else goes.
Here is Eesha's example
This is stunning!
For this challenge, a simple 'thanks' will do :-)

Day 241 - It's Not Too Late!

Or maybe it is!

It's time to created a belated birthday greeting to go on your card.
Here's DoBea's example
I think it's never too late for a beautiful card like this one!
I hate when I have to send belated birthday greetings, but at least we can inspire one another to create the loveliest ones out there!

Day 240 - Color Scheme

Here I am again, bringing another color scheme created by DoBea.
Here are the colors
I just love the contrast between the blue and the yellow/orange colors.  Of course, this put a stop to my Halloween-themed cards, and this is what I came up with instead
I've discovered during the past few weeks of doing color challenges, that I tend to add each color individually, rather than finding them in patterned papers.  Also, I seem to avoid stamping and coloring images, which is a common way to work with the color schemes.  How do color scheme challenges inspire you?  I've sure had fun with them, myself :-)

Day 239 - Four Folds

This one might be a big challenge, but let's give it a try.
Create FOUR FOLDS on your card, any way you'd like
Here's Michelle's example

That's gorgeous - fabulous patterned paper!!
I know there are lots of folding patterns out there, but there's no specific design that you need to use.  Get creative, and link those cards up here...

Day 238 - Be Mine, Valentine

I am so very sorry for the delayed posts the past couple of days.  My internet has been slooooooowwww, but the problem seems to have been resolved.
So without any further delay, here's today's challenge.
I'll bet with so many Spooktacular things going on right now (even if you don't do Halloween, I know it's all over blogland), I thought I'd throw out a random Holiday challenge.
So let's get inspired by Valentine's Day.  I'm talking love, hearts and romance.  How does that sound?
Here's Yvonne's take

I simply adore this - just the kind of Valentine I would love to get in the mail!
By the way, if you try to play along every day, you will be happy to know that I will extend the deadline for this week's challenges, so you have until Tuesday night to link up your cards.
Thanks for your patience!!

Today's challenge is to Imagine This....Spooky.
With Halloween coming in just over a week, I was in the mood for this theme.

Here's Audrey's card

Spooky fun!

You don't need to have a Halloween-themed card, but you must be inspired by the word 'Spooky'.

Day 236 - Tri, Tri Again

I'll bet you figured out that I'm talking about triangles for this challenge!
Use TRIANGLES as the dominant shape on your card.  Either use several small ones, or a few large ones.
Eesha got super creative with this one
Love this - so bright and fun!
You have lots of freedom with this one, as long as you stick to the specifics mentioned above.

Day 234 - Letter of the Day

This challenge is to create a card that uses three items, colors, images, etc. that start with the letter of my choosing.
And today, that letter is...

And here is DoBea's card
And her 3 B's are...
You can use any 3 B's you want - just mention them on your post before linking your cards up...

Day 233 - Color Scheme

Here's my card

I really liked this one, and I had just the stuff to put on my card to fit the colors.
Join me in the challenge and link those cards up here!

Day 232 - Setting an Example

This one might sound a little tricky, but it's not.
Essentially, you need to use a quotation on your card and then add an item or image that fits the quotation.
Here's Michelle's example

Terrific example!
She's got some note paper in the background that fits.
This shouldn't be terribly hard, and I'll bet you've got just the thing for this challenge.
So give a try and link your cards up here...

Day 231 - You Raise Me Up

For this challenge, you need to "lift" at least 3 items off your card to give them dimension.  They can be stacked, as well.
Here's is Yvonne's card for today
Love this!
And it definitely fits the challenge.
By the way, if you haven't checked yesterday's post, it is gradually being updated with Spotlight Designers and Freckled Fawn prize winners.  So keep checking back, because you might see your name on there...

Day 229 - Favorite Things

This one should be fun for everybody, because it challenges you to use your favorite things to create a card, specifically:
1) Favorite color
2) Favorite crafting tool
3) Favorite patterned paper
As far as a theme is concerned, anything goes.
Here's Eesha's example

And here are her favorite things:
1) Blue
2) Circle cutter and stamp embossing tool
3) These are all patterned papers that she loves
It almost seems certain that you will be happy with the outcome of this challenge when you are using items that you love to create with!
