Day 244 - Card Recipe 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

Day 243 - A Certain Sentiment

You must include a "Thanks" or "Thank You" on your card, otherwise anything else goes.

Day 241 - It's Not Too Late!

Or maybe it is!

It's time to created a belated birthday greeting to go on your card.

I think it's never too late for a beautiful card like this one!

 

I hate when I have to send belated birthday greetings, but at least we can inspire one another to create the loveliest ones out there!

Day 240 - Color Scheme

Here I am again, bringing another color scheme created by DoBea.

I just love the contrast between the blue and the yellow/orange colors.  Of course, this put a stop to my Halloween-themed cards, and this is what I came up with instead

 

 

I've discovered during the past few weeks of doing color challenges, that I tend to add each color individually, rather than finding them in patterned papers.  Also, I seem to avoid stamping and coloring images, which is a common way to work with the color schemes.  How do color scheme challenges inspire you?  I've sure had fun with them, myself :-)

Day 239 - Four Folds

This one might be a big challenge, but let's give it a try.

 

Create FOUR FOLDS on your card, any way you'd like

Day 238 - Be Mine, Valentine

I am so very sorry for the delayed posts the past couple of days.  My internet has been slooooooowwww, but the problem seems to have been resolved.

 

So without any further delay, here's today's challenge.

 

I'll bet with so many Spooktacular things going on right now (even if you don't do Halloween, I know it's all over blogland), I thought I'd throw out a random Holiday challenge.

 

So let's get inspired by Valentine's Day.  I'm talking love, hearts and romance.  How does that sound?

Day 236 - Tri, Tri Again

I'll bet you figured out that I'm talking about triangles for this challenge!

 

Use TRIANGLES as the dominant shape on your card.  Either use several small ones, or a few large ones.

This challenge is to create a card that uses three items, colors, images, etc. that start with the letter of my choosing.

Day 232 - Setting an Example

This one might sound a little tricky, but it's not.

 

Essentially, you need to use a quotation on your card and then add an item or image that fits the quotation.

This shouldn't be terribly hard, and I'll bet you've got just the thing for this challenge.

Day 231 - You Raise Me Up

For this challenge, you need to "lift" at least 3 items off your card to give them dimension.  They can be stacked, as well.

This one should be fun for everybody, because it challenges you to use your favorite things to create a card, specifically:

 

1) Favorite color

2) Favorite crafting tool

3) Favorite patterned paper

 

As far as a theme is concerned, anything goes.
